Arizona Blue Opal, named “Southern Skies Opal” Is a very pretty, soft blue Opal. Some of this material is precious fire opal and just as interesting is the picture opal variety. The picture opal is soft blue opal with wisps of brown,yellow and tan rhyolite mixed in. This mixture creates stunning pictures. Southern Skies Opal is 6.5 to 7 in hardness which makes it more sturdy than most Opal.
