Australian Rainforest Jasper a dark green jasper with contrasting eyes of lighter green, yellows, oranges and tans. Rainforest Jasper like some other types of jasper is believed to be a form of rhyolite that has been solidified into a more jasper-like material. Rainforest Jasper came from a molten flow of lava from the now extinct Mount Hay Volcano in Queensland, Australia.
