California Horse Canyon Moss Agate

Horse Canyon is located in Kern County, in the mountains just east of Tehachapi, CA. Horse Canyon is well known for it's beautiful moss agate. This agate is typically a mixture of greens, blue greens, whites and yellows. However a small percentage contains reds. The agate portion at times can be quite clear and usually not all that milky. The agate may also be amber, blue or even black. The material can also contain tubes, saginite and plumes. This is a very interesting Agate.
