Ochoco Birdseye Rhyolite. This material came from near the North Ochoco Reservoir. Located in theDeschutes National Forest of Central Oregon. The rock hounding information says Agate & Jasper But somewhere near this area are thunder egg like nodules of Rhyolite. These nodules are usually browns, tans, yellows and cream, with not much pattern. But once in a while exceptional specimens like this turn up.
