Pyromorphite from The Bunker Hill Mine Kellog, Idaho
This specimen is 1.7" long, 1.3" wide and 1" thick. It is a nice little crust with very little Damage.
Pyromorphite occurs as barrel-shaped crystals with a hexagonal outline. Pyromorphite also occurs as crusts or mammillary aggregates. Usually green or yellow, but also brown, gray or orange. Pyromorphite is a Lead chloro-phosphate, with the chemical formula Pb5(PO4)3Cl.
