Seraphinite is mined in the Korshunovskoye iron deposit of eastern Siberia. Seraphinite is a trade name for a particular form of clinochlore, a member of the chlorite group. Seraphinite is a mixture of dark and light silvery green almost forest green. It's feathery structure gives it the flashes of light called chatoyancy. These earrings are 16x12mm (.65" x .49") and very flashy.
