Mexican Crazy Lace agate is found in Northern Mexico, in the state of Chihuahua, southwest of Villa Ahumada. Crazy Lace Agate, is an attractive, multi-colored agate with patterns that live up to it's name. Crazy lace agate is found in ancient limestone formations. It is somewhat of a pseudomorph, as the irregular patterns were formed by agate covering and later replacing calcite crystals lining the fissures within the limestone formations.
