Unakite Silver Earrings

The first Unakite found in the United States. Was found in the Unaksa mountains of North Carolina. Which of course explains it's name. It consists of colorless quartz mixed with a pleasing salmon pink orthoclase feldspar and forest green epidote. It is considered an altered form of granite. But high grade unakite has very pleasing colors and takes a good polish. Making it also a semiprecious gemstone.
