Variscite

Variscite is a relatively rare hydrated aluminum phosphate mineral. Gem quality Variscite is rather rare. Variscite is often confused with turquoise, but variscite's color tends to be greener rather than blue. Variscite is famous for its different shades of green caused by traces of chromium. Utah was a well known US source, some years ago.
